The School District of Philadelphia On-Call Services, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Overview: GeoStructures has served numerous open-ended, on-call services for the School District of Philadelphia, as well as many other academic institutions in the area including Drexel University, Temple University, Villanova University, the University of Pennsylvania, and Lower Merion School District. Whenever a task order arises, our project managers promptly submit a cost proposal to the district.

Recently, GeoStructures provided the School District of Philadelphia special inspections and material testing services for various projects systemwide, including a geotechnical investigation for Northeast High School, inspection and testing for Mayfair Elementary School, McCall Elementary School, Ben Franklin High School, and major upgrades to Murrell Dobbins CTE High School. The construction inspection and testing performed by GeoStructures included earthwork and fill compaction, footings, cast-in-place concrete, unit masonry assemblies, structural steel (including nondestructive testing), slab flatness, fireproofing, and asphalt pavement.
