About Us

Founded in 2001 and headquartered in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, GeoStructures is a private engineering consulting firm providing state-of-the-art expertise in geotechnical/environmental engineering, soil-structure interaction, and construction materials inspection and testing. Our strength comes from our diligence and ability to recognize that every project, regardless of size or complexity, has unique subsurface factors that must be identified and understood in order to develop technically-sound and cost-effective geotechnical solutions for design and construction.

GeoStructures works closely with national developers and multi-disciplinary architectural and engineering companies, as well as municipal and state entities. Over 80 percent of our company’s customers are repeat business, which underscores the value and service that we bring to our clients and their projects. GeoStructures has earned a reputation of integrity, innovation, and quality service that establishes our firm as one of the best in the field.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide state-of-the-art geotechnical engineering services, develop creative and technically-sound solutions to challenging design and construction problems for our clients, and advance the state of practice and profession.

Our People

GeoStructures has assembled a versatile team of highly-skilled principals, project managers, project engineers, and staff/field engineers to provide the expertise needed to deliver high-quality, innovative, technically-sound solutions to clients. Our engineers continually strive to advance the state of practice through serving on national technical committees, publishing innovative projects and research findings, and serving as peer reviewers for top journal and conference proceedings.

Why GeoStructures?

GeoStructures has a state-of-the-art, in-house accredited AASHTO, USACE, and CCRL laboratory, thereby significantly enhancing our ability to understand the complexity and variations of the subsurface.

GeoStructures places significant emphasis on detailed site characterization—every project has unique geologic factors which influence its optimization.

GeoStructures judiciously applies the finite element method (FEM) for a deeper understanding of soil-structure interaction to arrive at innovative, practical solutions to complex geotechnical problems.
